Boreania minima scales are found together with scales of Goniporus alatus (Gross, 1947) in a sample from talus of outcrop 45 in the Krasnaya Bukhta section October Revolution Island (Russian: Остров Октябрьской Революции, tr. Ostrov Oktyabrskoy Revolyutsii) is the largest island of the Severnaya Zemlya group in the Russian Arctic. The island was only discovered in the early 20th century. It is covered in ice caps or tundra and is uninhabited.
